One-to-one gardening tutorials
Many people get enjoyment from working in their garden but can struggle to know where to start or lack the confidence in the technical tasks. We are now offering 1:1 private sessions with one of our RHS trained gardeners. We can help you with specific tasks in your own garden that you would like to do yourself. This can be a stand alone service or work alongside your garden maintenance services.
LAWN CARE
Edging a lawn is one of the best high impact tasks that keep a garden looking it's best and immediately neat and tidy. We not only provide a high quality finish with our mowing but can provide an all year round lawn care plan for our clients, incorporating tasks from feeding and weed/disease treatments to scarification and top dressing.
BED WORK & FLORAL DESIGN
We pride ourselves on having fully RHS qualified team members and make an effort to train all our staff as horticulturalists, knowledgeable in their field and plant identification. Team members are trained in a variety of pruning, propagation, disease management and general plant care. We believe it is this higher level training that provides our clients with a more in depth and specialist service. Our team are also able to help you with the development of your borders, bespoke design services are available to evolve your garden and create new areas of interest.
GREENHOUSE & VEGETABLE GARDENS
This is one of our favourite areas to get involved in! We take great pride in the vegetable gardens that we run for clients. We can provide a full service from start to finish running your potager and allowing you to reap the benefits of your bountiful harvest! However we can also assist you in developing your own edible paradise, whether this is assisting on crop rotation plans, advice on cultivar selection or top tips on how to care for your veggies. Sessions can be booked in for one of our vegetable garden experts to come to you.
HEDGE WORK & TREE CARE
Our team are experienced in cutting a variety of hedges and we can give you the best advice on the time of year to prune your particular style of hedging. We have chainsaw trained team members and for any more involved tree projects we have qualified arborists who we work alongside on a regular basis.
SEASONAL DISPLAYS & INDOOR PLANT CARE
Some of our clients like us to dress indoor and outdoor pots seasonally or for particular events such as parties, Easter and Christmas. We have experience in looks after a wide range of house plants, air plants, and orchids and can incorporate this into any maintenance as needed.
PLANTING DESIGN & GARDEN DEVELOPMENT
We work alongside our clients not only to care for and nurture their existing garden but to develop and evolve areas as needed. We can work organically, changing planting areas or moving plants and adding to beds on site or, we can provide design services through our sister company Mark Payne Landscape Design for more involved projects where a drawn design is required.
DRESSING FOR EVENTS & PARTIES
We have now undertaken the dressing up of gardens for several of our clients weddings or large parties and we love it! Whether it is installing large scale lighting through trees and over pergolas, new planting, water bowls with floating candles and flowers or a general spruce up and high impact displays for the day we are here to help whatever your requirements. We have also got several pubs and restaurants ready for openings and helped them to stay looking their best for customers. In these changing times we know how important outside spaces are for these retail venues.
